I would like to take a few minutes to highly recommend Joe and Wendy at Mi Casa Real Estate Company in San Antonio Tlayacapan, Jalisco, MX.

After I spent 3 years researching such varied locations as Panama, Portugal, Colombia, and Ecuador for a potential relocation, my husband and I decided to travel to the Lake Chapala area of Mexico to check out why many thousands of expats choose to make their homes here. We arrived in Chapala in May, 2021, for a visit.

After going on a tour of the area and after experiencing the EXCELLENT health care system up close and personal with a 2-day hospital stay (long story), we decided that this beautiful area in west-central MX certainly met many of our criterion for a move from the U. S. (Our factors were/are healthcare, safety, good public transportation, climate, and cost of living.)

We literally checked me out of the hospital and walked down the road to Mi Casa, where Wendy drove us around to look at a few houses. We quickly decided to rent House #3, which is in the town of San Antonio in the Lakeside area. Wendy and Joe were quick to answer messages, were professional in our dealings with them, and shared vital, relevant info with us regarding life in the Chapala area.

We are now living in our house with Mi Casa serving as our landlords, and we love it! The staff at Mi Casa are attentive and helpful—whether you’re wanting to rent or buy a home. Come see what all the hype is about; you won’t regret it.
